Tuesday we began our journey. We left the house at 8:30 am, flew on three airplanes, and arrived in Kona, Hawaii that evening for a total of 16 traveling hours. The kids did pretty well, and we were able to see my family in Denver who met us at the airport during our 3-hour layover.
Needless to say, we were pretty tired when we arrived. Excited, but ready for a good night's sleep so we could start our adventure tomorrow.
