Thanksgiving 2010 was the last time my family was together with everyone. It was great to see the family and meet my little nephew, Houston.
The kids and I made the 10.5 hour drive out, and they were amazing travelers. Including our three stops we beat Google's estimated time by 30 mins. Camryn can watch DVDs for hours, and she did... and as long as Dakota doesn't sit in the middle seat, everyone gets along.
We were privileged to attend Travis' ordination, and later in the day we enjoyed being part of his first trip to the temple to perform baptisms.
Despite 100 degree weather, fires which altered our sight-seeing plans, and Taylor's stomach flu, we enjoyed our time swimming, BBQing, and Tor's baseball game.

A Little Adventure
We decided it was time for an adventure...and definitely time to escape the 100+ degree weather. We found a water park nearby and had a blast. Taylor was most excited about the Flow Rider and is already looking forward to next year's cruise. Dakota and Camryn loved the slide, and we all enjoyed the afternoon together as a family.
Kitchen Help
One of the many things I love about our new house is my baking station. I have my kitchen aide, counter space, and all the necessary kitchen and baking items at hand. There is space for each of the kids to help, and we all love making treats. I can't help but laugh at these fun kiddos.

It's Ours!
After 8 months of searching for a house, we found one. It took us a long time to figure out what we wanted, but here it is, and we LOVE it!! Same school district, same ward...and a place we can call our own.

Then You Blink
I remember this pose about 18 months ago. Feels like yesterday, but at the same time seems to have been forever ago.
Time for a New Bed
The kids went to their beds, I turned the lights out, and said good night. I went to my room and began to read. After about 15 minutes I heard noises down in the kitchen. I decided to go see who the late night snacker was. I thought I'd check the kids' bedrooms on the way down to give me a clue. There was Dakota, sound asleep in her bed, and there was Taylor sound asleep in his bed. I started to get a little scared. But I had locked up the house so I was slightly reassured. Then I heard her. Camryn!? There was Camryn standing on the kitchen table in the dark. She had climbed out of her crib on her own, and was playing on the kitchen table. Time to get her a new bed I guess...

5K Race
I had heard the Dam to Dam Race was a good one to run. When we first moved here I wanted to run the 20k, but considering my lack of training and being almost 12 weeks pregnant, I decided to go with the 5k. It was a fun run, and I was grateful to have a race to keep me off my butt.
A few ward members also ran the race, and it was fun to have buddies come race day. Next year...the 20k.
